FIDO Digs a Hole

The rover executed a short but challenging maneuver to place its left
front wheel atop a nearby soil target designated by the Soil and Physical
Properties science subteam. There, it dug a shallow trench (a hole made
by turning the left front wheel in reverse while all the other wheels were
locked in position so that they do not move), backed away from the
trench and turned to face the trench so that it would be in range of the
rover arm carrying science instruments for potential measurements
on the next sol.
