Mars Orbit Insertion - Trajectory Animations

The following animations are computer simulations showing various perspectives of Mars Odyssey during its entry into Mars' orbit. All of the animations are in Quicktime format. Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) is included in some of the animations. The spacecraft size in these animations have been exaggerated by a factor of 20,000 so that they would be more visible. The orbit of Mars Odyssey is shown in yellow, while Mars Global Surveyor's orbit is show in white. Animations created by Ron Baalke.
