Mars Exploration (General)

content picture for contributions section
My initial background and training is in Mars telescopic observations. My thesis work used Mars images and spectra obtained from Mauna Kea Observatory in Hawaii, and I have also been involved in Mars telescope observing from observatories in France, California, and Wyoming. Since 1995 I have been a team member or team leader of a group of astronomers observing Mars with the Hubble Space Telescope. It is very exciting to be able to use such a spectacular telescope in space to observe Mars!
