Mars Exploration Rover Mission

content picture for contributions section
I worked as the Cog-E of the Solar Array structures and Mechanisms. This really means I was responsible for the design, fabrication, and build of the Solar Arrays for the Rover. I moved from this position to ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) engineer responsible for working with the team to build Spirit and Opportunity at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Mars Pathfinder

At this time I was a student, but I worked on mass properties by finding the CG of the rover to work stability of the mobility system. I worked testing the airbag system by building the rock stand used to test the airbags in there drop test in this mission and for MER as well as a interface test with the bridle and airbags called the “whiplash test”. I also helped fabricate the cleats used on Sojourner’s wheels.
