What advice can you offer to young scientists or engineers?

Good engineering is in the detail.

What are your personal goals for the future?

Continuing working on Mars projects and contribute to learning more about the red planet.

What portion of this mission interests you the most?

Each phase of the mission from initial design, to development, to testing, and finally onto to operations is interesting and challenging. I have no favorite and the fun part is being able to see the mission through from start to end.

When you were in elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I don't recall, but I do remember building electric motors from scratch out of glass tubes, nails, cork, and wire so I suppose I had an inkling at that time to become an electrical engineer.

Do you have any hobbies?
