What are your personal goals for the future?

Someday, I would love to be a high-school science teacher.

What is the most fascinating thing about your mission?

That these little rovers are still going strong! It really is a testament to the brilliant and talented scientists and engineers who designed, built, and operate these vehicles.

What's the most challenging part of your job?

The most challenging part of my job is trying to find ways to improve our process. We are always looking for more efficient ways to operate while maintaining the quality and quantity of sequences delivered and executed by the spacecraft.

What’s the most extraordinary experience you've had so far on this mission?

The night Opportunity landed and we saw the first images come down from the rover. We were staring right at Martian bedrock, it was so exciting!

When you were in elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I couldnt decide between being a heart surgeon or a teacher!
