My background is primarily in terrestrial remote sensing with most of my work centering on exploring new ways to extract information from hyperspectral sensors such as NASA's AVIRIS (Airborne Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer). I have worked for Science Applications International Corporation on the HYDICE (HYperspectral Digital Imagery Collection Experiment) sensor program. I have also worked with commercial hyperspectral systems such as Earth Search Science, Inc.'s Probe-1 sensor. Since joining the Space Science Institute in 1999, I have worked on several NASA Mars Data Analysis Program investigations using data from the Mars Pathfinder and Mars Global Surveyor missions. I am currently a science team member on the Mars Exploration Rover mission.
