Background Information
With the exception of 9 months of Graduate school in 1991, 6 months on Cassini in 1992, and 2 years managing the Systems Engineering Section in 1999-2000, I've worked exclusively on Mars Exploration since joining the laboratory in 1989. Prior to that, I studied aerospace engineering and planetary science at MIT. Going to school in Boston was one of the biggest adjustments in my life, having grown up in a fairly rural area of Tennessee.
