Background Information
I grew up in eastern Washington, spent my senior year of High School as an exchange student in Holland, then went to Harvey Mudd College in Claremont. Came to JPL full time after graduating from college. I am fortunate that I was able to do the whole project life cycle (requirements, design, building, integration, environmental testing, shipment to KSC, more integration and testing there, then mission operations at MSFC) on the first project, a shuttle-based physics experiment that flew in 1992. I've enjoyed my position integrating the flight software for MER, and am excited to play a part in the operations, as part of the Data Management team (keeping space available onboard the rovers for more science data).

Contributions to Mars Exploration

I have been a member of the flight software team since the summer of 2000. My duties have included cognizance of the flight software module that implements the spacecraft portion of the telemetry dictionary, and support for flight software integration activities (i. [more contributions ...]
