Background Information
I left the country that my ancestors had called home for hundreds of years and migrated with my family when I was 14 years old. I arrived at US and Southern California at an age just shy of 18. I attended high school for a semester before pursuing education at a local community college. I learned English, and studied Math and Science and was admitted to Cal Poly Pomona where I received my BS in Electrical Engineering. I starting working at JPL as a student at an age of 24 and have worked at JPL ever since. I have worked on several projects such as DS1, MLS, X2000, MSAP and MSL either as test, integration or design engineer. On MSL I was in charge of delivering the Telecom Interface FPGA named MTIF. I have spent almost a decade either directly or indirectly contributing to the MSL rover.

Contributions to Mars Exploration

My involvement with the MSL began with the precursor project X2000 where I helped design and implement the avionics to instrumentation bus interface. I continued working on yet another precursor project named MSAP where I became the cognizant engineer in charge of delivering the avionics telecommunication board. [more contributions ...]
Personal Reflections

People always say the Skys the Limit, but as we can all see there is no limit. So do not limit your dreams, many ordinary people can achieve the extraordinary by working together for a great cause. [more personal reflections ...]
